Trippi Agreements & Policies

1. Line of Business (LOB) & Nature of Platform

Trippi operates strictly as an Online Transport Aggregator Marketplace & Travel Technology Platform. Our Line of Business (LOB) facilitates online charter vehicle reservations—including private buses, tempo travellers, luxury coaches, and commercial passenger vans—by connecting travel customers directly with independent licensed fleet operators across India.

2. Purpose & Use of Payment Gateway

The integrated payment gateway on Trippi is utilized for two specific digital payment flows:

• Customer Advance Booking Deposits: Passengers pay a partial advance security deposit via the payment gateway to reserve charter vehicles for specific travel dates. These funds are held securely in platform escrow and released to the operator upon successful trip completion verified via a 6-digit Trip Start OTP.
• Operator SaaS Subscriptions: Independent transport operators pay recurring monthly or annual subscription fees to maintain their digital dashboard access, vehicle listing software, and lead management tools.

3. Charter Owner Licensing & Regulatory Compliance

All charter vehicles listed on Trippi are owned, maintained, and operated by independent third-party transport operators. In compliance with the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and central/state transport guidelines, all operators covenant that listed vehicles hold:

• All India Tourist Permits (AITP) or valid State Stage/Contract Carriage Permits issued by the Regional Transport Authority (RTA).
• Valid Commercial Vehicle Registration Certificates (RC) and Commercial Fitness Certificates.
• Active Commercial Passenger Motor Insurance policies covering passengers and third-party liabilities.
• Valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates and commercial driving licenses for all assigned drivers.

4. License & Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Trippi and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Trippi. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Trippi for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

• Republish material from Trippi
• Sell, rent or sub-license material from Trippi
• Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from Trippi
• Redistribute content from Trippi

5. Platform Facilitator Role & Tax Compliance

• Marketplace & Facilitator Role: Trippi acts strictly as an online booking and payment collection facilitator. Trippi is not the transport service provider and does not own, lease, or operate any passenger vehicles.
• Transport Service Contract: The contract for passenger transport is formed directly between the passenger and the selected bus/vehicle operator. The operator is solely responsible for fulfilling the transport service.
• Independent Fare Setting: Bus operators set their own trip fares independently. Fares displayed represent operator rates.
• Tax & GST Compliance: Operators are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable tax laws, including GST registration and issuing GST-compliant tax invoices to passengers where required. Trippi collects advance deposits only as a payment collection facilitator and does not treat passenger transport funds as platform revenue.

6. User Comments & Reviews

Parts of this website offer an opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions and reviews. Trippi does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Trippi, its agents or affiliates. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Trippi shall not be liable for the Comments or for any liability, damages or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website.

5. Trip Verification & Security (OTP)

To ensure secure service commencement, Trippi uses a mandatory **6-digit One-Time Password (OTP)** system. A booking is only marked as "Started" in our system when the assigned Driver enters the client's OTP. The client is responsible for giving this OTP to the driver at pickup. Failure to do so may result in the trip being marked as a "No-Show".

6. Limitation of Liability

Trippi acts strictly as an aggregator and technology intermediary. While we perform KYC verification on Operators and Drivers, we do not own, operate, or control the vehicles. Trippi shall not be liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss resulting from the acts or omissions of the Operator or Driver during the trip.

7. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India for the resolution of any disputes.
